COMMUNITY PASTOR JOB  DESCRIPTION

August 21, 2024

Oversee “Next Generation” - Children’s (Ages: Birth to 11) and Youth Ministry (Ages: 12 – 17) 

• (Kerry Anderson presently Director  over Children’s Ministry)
• Develop and implement plan in conjunction with the leadership team to draw new families, focusing on children and youth
• Develop and implement program in conjunction with the leadership team for Ages 12-17
• Oversee all phases of next generation ministry
• Approximately 5 hours per week

Community Pastor

• Assist Senior Pastors in all phases of church life – Bible studies, small group, counseling, visitation, pulpit as needed
• Part of the Leadership team to develop and implement new ministry initiatives
• Approximately 5 hours per week

Outreach Marketplace Ministry

• Assist Senior Pastors and Executive Director with various aspects of our marketplace ministries –
• Focus on relationship building, evangelism, meeting tangible needs as a platform for the Gospel
• Approximately 10 hours per week

Team member for strategic planning

Salary - Negotiable

Note: We realize this is currently a part time position so we would work together  to be flexible with  other work scheduling  knowing that some of our needs are time sensitive as well.

Requirements:

                Born Again Christian

                  Filled with the Holy Spirit or open to that

                Vision 101 and Covenant Member

                Background Check cleared

                Clean Driving License

Agree to teach Abounding Love core doctrines.

Accept and actively pursue ALCF’s vision
